For all dry cut appointments, please arrive with clean, fully dry hair styled as you normally wear it so we can see your natural texture and movement. This allows Mackenzie to create a customized cut that works effortlessly with your everyday routine.

For color appointments, please come with clean hair free of heavy products, oils, dry shampoo, or buildup so we can achieve the best possible results. Bringing inspiration photos of your desired color or style is highly encouraged and helps us create a personalized plan tailored to your features, lifestyle, and maintenance goals.

During your appointment, we’ll discuss your hair goals, maintenance preferences, and what is realistically achievable for your hair type and condition. Photos of styles or colors you’ve loved in the past are also helpful for inspiration and communication.

Yes! Free street parking is available nearby on Bowman Street as well as along the entire block of Conrad Street for your convenience when visiting The Artist Haus.

Yes—blow-dry styling is available as an add-on to your dry cut for an additional $50. The total for both a dry cut and blow-out is $150.

A dry sweep is a light maintenance service designed to keep your hair healthy and your shape intact between full cuts. Most clients receive a full shape and cut only once or twice a year, then maintain their style with a dry sweep in between appointments.

Think of it as a “dusting” for your ends—removing just enough to encourage healthy growth without sacrificing length or your overall shape. For color and cut clients, a dry sweep is often paired with a glaze to refresh tone, add shine, and extend the life of your color.

Typical maintenance appointments are recommended every 8–12 weeks, depending on your hair goals, texture, and lifestyle.
